Mothers are Better than Fathers(Debate Points).

So, what sets Mothers apart? You asked? Well, let’s find out.

In this post, we’ll discuss the top things that mothers tend to do exceptionally well in parenting and why they’re the best.

Please have in mind that this post is a gender bias content, and you may not like or agree to some facts, but the fact remains that many people aren’t staying the sacrifice mothers make in raising up kids, we focus mostly on how the fathers are the head of the family and all that, but we need to stand up for Moms.

Yes, someone needs to do it. And I’m here to stand up for Mothers. Although there are many reasons why mothers are better than fathers, we’re going to discuss the top 5 qualities with you.

Mothers are better than fathers

But first, I’ll begin by acknowledging the importance of Fathers in a child’s life:

Fathers are the great pillars of the family and play a distinct role in the lives of their children. From being a role model to their male children to being a protective model to their daughters.

In short, a Father shows how the son should act and behave, yet he also models what his daughter will look for in a partner in the future.

Also, fathers are great providers, although this topic isn’t well spelt out but we all know how our Dads always take full responsibility when it comes to providing for their children. And vice versa.

After getting my University degree, I was once asked by some random relative if my mother must have contributed to my journey to success because my mom had a doctorate degree of Master of Science.

My mother was dedicated to our studies. From getting us up in the morning, to feeding with her hands, taking us to the Bus Stop, bringing us back from school, to discussing our study affairs at the lunch table, and to teaching us some of the Science subjects. That was my mom’s daily routine.

She didn’t usually stay late in the office without any work because she always wanted to devote her whole time to us(her kids and husband).

Do you know what I replied to the discussion of the relative about my mother’s contribution to my success?

I said both my mother and father contributed equally to my success.

If Father used to get us up in the morning, Mother was the only one who used to get him up first.

If he fed us breakfast, Mother was the one who cooked for us in the early morning.

If he tied our shoes my mother was the one to keep them clean.

So, as much as fathers are also important in raising the kids, mothers are the best with some unique points.

Now let’s go ahead and state the obvious reasons why mothers are the best.

5 Solid Reasons Why a Mother Is Better Than a Father.

1. Nurturing and Support.

The main argument in favor of mothers being better than fathers for children often revolves around the idea that mothers are more nurturing, supportive and attending to a child’s needs ore than the fathers, especially in the early stages of life. However, this doesn’t mean fathers are less valuable, just that mothers are often perceived to have a more immediate impact in those early formative years.

I think it’s because we’ve been with our Mom from the very beginning. We grew in her tummy, she feeds us, cleans us, and loves us from the bottom of her heart, etc. So, the bond with Mom starts right away.

Also, Mothers tend to be nurturing. Fathers can be also but not like Mom. Mothers seem to be caring and have a gentle touch. They seem softer and easier to talk to than Dad’s. Most women have a Motherly instinct whereas Dad’s are seen as more rugged.

2. Emotional Connection.

A child practically asks the mother – how to do this? Where is my shirt, dress? Can I do this? When can I go and what should I do? And more. A child shares its feelings, thoughts, fears and experiences with the mother who is always available to attend to him or her.

Then what does a child ask its father? A child asks its father, “where is mother”?, if it does not see its mother first thing when entering the house.

That being said, you can now believe that mothers are the best because of the way most children are more emotionally connected to the mother.

3. Lover and a Caregiver.

Mothers are good caregivers and nurses to their children, one who puts their heart and soul and devotion into their child’s medical needs depends on the love and strength of a mother.

Being a mom and a caregiver are not the same but couldn’t be one without the other.

Being a mother is what keeps you going through the hardest days and pushes you through the sleepless nights. A mother’s love for their child makes sleeping in an emergency room make sense, and when the caregiving responsibilities feel too heavy, a mother’s strength can manage to make them feel weightless.

4. Character Formation and Upbringing.

Of course mothers do play a vital part in character formation and upbringing of a child and believe me no one can replace this.

From giving birth to them, nurturing and taking proper care of them till they become adults and some even continue to care even when the children have their own family. So you can see that mothers are definitely the more important figure in the affairs of raising a child.

5. Mothers are Funnier and Better at Playing.

Maybe I am speaking from the eyes of just being a kid, but when we were kids my mom had more fun with us than Dad does. We feel free to discuss lots of things, crack jokes, play more games with Mom than our Dad, that’s even if you see him around.

Obviously, Kids feel more free around their mom than Dad. Have you heard Dads tell jokes? Even if they do, it’s just a few among fifty percent. They are only funny to their fellow Dads. And often not that funny at all. So with the following solid points you have seen and realized that Mothers are better than Fathers, right?

Final Words.

From my research and personal experience, I have come to the conclusion that mothers are better than fathers in so many ways following the points I have listed above.

However, keep in mind that getting it right and best in terms of parenting, neither is more or less important. Both mothers and fathers have different roles to play in a child’s life.

So in conclusion, both parents are very important to a child for them to grow up to become responsible individuals, develop confidence, and feel loved and secured in the society.
